Everyone spends money on gas, but not everyone receives cash back for paying for gas. Recently we learned of this AMAZING app called Upside. Upside give you cash back on gas AND restaurants. Let's cut to the chase and show you how this great app works!
First: Download the Upside App & Create a Log-In!

Second: Learning How Earning Cash Back on Gas Works!
On Upside you'll not only earn cash back on gas you already need to buy, but you will ALSO be able to see where the cheapest gas is! You're able to move the map around so it's not just based on your current location. The only caveat is that you have 4 hours to claim offers once you've accepted them so make sure you plan ahead!
Handy Hack: The offers can be different for EVERYONE! If you have a travel buddy have them download the app through the link as well. Sometimes your Upside may show that you have $0.03 back per gallon while your friend may have $0.27 back per gallon!
There are HUNDREDS of offers for cash back on gas & food on Upside. You can filter by what you're wanting too! If you're looking for a great way to save money & travel in an RV on a budget this is DEFINITELY the app for you!
Third: Add Your Cards to Your Wallet on Upside.
This step is EXTREMELY important! The first time we used Upside we weren't aware that we had to add our card. The way that Upside makes sure that you're the one paying for gas is by the last 4 digits of your card number. Not to worry! Upside doesn't need your full card number to track your purchases.
It does mean that if your travel buddy is the one with the better deal on their Upside app then they have to pay for the gas. You can always use Facebook Pay to send them the funds if they don't have it. Facebook Pay is an instant transfer with NO FEES!
Fourth: Imagine the Savings!
Pictured is an example of just one of the ways we've saved on Upside! $4.00 back on gas may not seem like a lot to some people, but it adds up! Fifth & Final: Cashing Out on Your Gas Savings!
There are so many ways to cash out on your earnings! From gift cards to your bank account, there are so many options. To cash out to your bank account you'll need to link it. It takes a few days to process of course so try to plan ahead if you're going to be needing that money. If you're wanting to cash out to your bank account make sure you have a minimum of $15 to cash out otherwise there is a $1 fee. If you want to cash out through a gift card you'll receive a digital gift card in your email. You'll want to make sure that your email is up-to-date!
